Tuition Plans
We accept cash, personal checks as well as Visa or Mastercards. We also offer autopayment by credit card and must have the card to swipe for their usage in the office. For classes over the internet payments by credit cards are required.
Monthly
Fees for instrumental classes are $35.00 per half hour on a once a week schedule. Beginner vocal lessons will be offered at Powerhouse Music Lessons for the cost of $35.00 per half hour as well. The monthly total for one lesson a week is $140.00 due in the first lesson of the month unless there are five weeks in the month when 175.00 will be due. An extra $5.00 will be assessed for each week the classes go unpaid unless arrangements can be made with the front desk. These fees apply to anyone attending classes at one of our locations or who participate on line. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. Make ups must be made within 14 days of the lessons missed.There are no make ups for missed band rehearsals.
Be In The Band
The band program is for students who want the experience of playing with others in a coordinated and supervised manner. Be In The Band consists of seven rehearsals and a performance. The participants learn two or three songs and Showcase along with other bands at that venue. Each band member can practice with their instructor during their regularly scheduled class and then rehearse once a week at Powerhouse Music Studios with a coordinating instructor for an hour and a half. If the band members can arrange it they can also use the jam room for unsupervised rehearsals and for time to bond.The cost for each student who is in our band is an additional $125.00 per month in addition to monthly classes. Each venue we play is an additional cost. Our goal is to just cover costs so we keep the entry costs as low as possible.
Yearly
Yearly tuition is $1650.00 (usually $1800.00) allowing excused absences four times a year. The benefit is these excused days can be used for vacations, illness or family emergencies. Contact the front desk to take advantage of this program. However, we cannot arrange excused absences for band activities.
Bi-Yearly By signing up and paying for for six months of lessons that normally would cost $900.00 we permit two excused absences a year.
Autodebit By placing your lessons into our autodebit program you will be billed monthly for your lessons which will depend on the number of weeks that are in each month. You will still enjoy the flexibility of informing us of your vacation plans by the 3rd of the month. Autodebt will be set for the 4th of each month. By placing your billing in our autodebt prgram you will enjoy the benefits of our yearly tuition and four excused absences a year! Contact Christel to get started!
Live OnLine Classes
Internet classes will offer the full range of opportunity that on site classes do. Payments are taken over the internet using Visa and Mastercard. The videophone approach over the internet requires that the user have a high speed internet connection and have already downloaded SIGHTSPEED. A simple call to the office and we can arrange a time and day just as if you were phyically walking into the office. The qualify of your camera will have a impact of the quality of the internet transmission but not more so than the speed of the connection. Cancellations
Should a instructor be absent either another instructor will be scheduled in their place or the instructor will be asked to coordinate a make up class with 14 days of the missed class. When students have not practiced please don't cancel. We ask that the student attend their class and practice with the teacher. Otherwise should you miss a class that class is forfeited and there are no refunds. Make Up classes are treated as a separate booking and will be billed in addition to the monthly fees the following month.

Monica Margolis, CEO accepts professional students of stage and screen who require accelerated vocal training in private sessions. For appointments with Ms. Margolis contact the front desk for dates, times and costs.
Phil Ernst, COO accepts students on a limited basis who are especially committed to their interest in music theory and chord mapping. For scheduling as well as fees contact the front desk.
Termination of lessons
Powerhouse Music Lessons reserves the right to dismiss any student due to frequent absences, disciplinary reasons, overdue tuition payments or parental non-compliance with policies and procedures listed here.
No refunds are given.
Should a student wish to terminate his or her lessons Powerhouse Music Lessons must be informed by the last week of the month.
